Job Description

Receives supplies, stores products, acts as a relief receiving clerk.

  1. Receives supplies.
  • Using appropriate requisition forms or invoices, checks in supplies, verifying completeness of shipment.

  • Examines supplies to ensure orders are filled correctly and items are not damaged.

  1. Takes inventory of supplies, as necessary.
  • Using appropriate inventory/order forms, accurately records amount of supplies in stock on a daily, weekly or monthly basis according to specific needs.
  1. Maintains cleanliness of storeroom; removes empty boxes and straightens shelves; mops floors; periodically cleans shelves.

  2. Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required

  • Prior storeroom experience, preferred

  • Ability to read and write English.
