Assists in developing and maintaining IS Policies/Procedures and Projects for the NS– LIJ Home Care Network Participates in software setup, testing, training, and maintenance. Participates in setting up, testing, and end user training of new software releases, upgrades and hot fixes. Assists in identifying, communicating, and resolving software issues and in developing customized reports.
Participates in supporting and Maintaining IS Software and Hardware. Assists in On-Call support of Home Care Software. Performs site visits to support software and hardware as needed.
Assists in identifying organizational and IS needs .
Incorporates Network’s priority on service quality and continuous improvement by identifying patient/customer expectations and working to exceed them.
Performs related duties as required.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related healthcare discipline, required. Master’s Degree, preferred.
· Minimum of five (5) years of relevant computer experience in a hospital setting with home care experience, preferred.
· Current Driver’s License, required.
Knowledge of Home Health Oasis software, required.
